1. About this Tuesday

What: Reading Discussion
Where: 16Beaver Street, 4th Floor
When: Tuesday 07.20.10 at 7:15 pm
Who: Free and open to all

This will be the fifth reading group in the series.

Anastasiya had written the following note for Week 5:

We will continue with our reading group this Tuesday (7:15 pm).

The tentative plan for next week is to finish reading through the third and start the fourth (and the final) chapter of Isabelle Graw's "High Price". As an accompanying material we recommend taking a look
at Paolo Virno's "A Grammar of the Multitude" (http://www.generation-online.org/c/fcmultitude3.htm), which is a reference throughout the third chapter to Graw's attempts of articulating the position of culture producers in the post-Fordist economy. If you don't have time to read the whole thing, perhaps focusing on the second chapter "Labor, Action, Intellect" would be the most
productive. http://www.generation-online.org/c/fcmultitude3.htm

Also, for general interest, we are also attaching Graw's "When Life Goes to Work: Andy Warhol" - her article form the recent issue of October:

4. Week 2 Readings

The reading list for Week 2 is largely the same as week 1, we only suggested continuing with the Graw text to the end of the chapter. Moreover, we added a Hal Foster text.
