Cosa: incontro con Spurse e proposta di attraversamento urbano

Vi invitiamo mercoledì sera all'atelier 15 presso i Magazzini Ligabue per
la presentazione del lavoro di due artisti del collettivo Spurse, J.
Morgan Puett e Iain Kerr. Entrambi gli artisti stanno conducendo un
workshop a Venezia al momento, cogliamo così l'occasione per allargare la
discussione a proposito del loro lavoro ad un pubblico allargato. Al
momento, il lavoro di Spurse è in mostra al MASS MoCA con l'esposizione
Interventionists, un tentativo per mappare e raccogliere diversi gruppi ed
iniziative che cercano di irrompere creativamente nella vita quotidiana.

La serata sarà divisa in due parti, inizierà con la presentazione di
alcuni lavori e, nella seconda parte, Spurse risponderà all'invito di
Intorno della scorsa settimana scoprendo e conducendo diverse possibilità
di attraversare la città.

What: Meeting with Spurse and urban crossing

For Wednesday night we are happy to invite you to IUAV for a presentation
by two participants in Spurse, J. Morgan Puett and Iain Kerr.   Both
artists are visiting Venice for a workshop at IUAV and so we wanted to
take this opportunity to invite a wider public to engage them in a
discussion about their work.   Currently, Spurse is a part of the

Interventionists exhibition at MASS MoCA, which attempts to map and
collect various groups and initiatives which attempt to creatively disrupt
everyday life.   For more information, please see the note below, visit the
Spurse website, and of course attend tomorrow's discussion.
The evening will be divided into two parts.   Part one, the presentation.

Part two, Spurse will respond to a request made by Intorno last week for
discovering and enacting various possibilities for crossing the city.
This event as always is free and open to anyone interested, so we look
forward to seeing you there.

spurse è un collettivo internazionale composto da persone con esperienza
in campi molto diversi fra loro. Spurse non ha contenuti o membri (fissi)
- piuttosto è una molteplicità virale che continuamente si trasforma con i
progetti e gli eventi. Per questo è aperto a cambiamenti, contraddizioni,
molteplicità, tangenti, infezione e tradimenti. Siamo interessati a
considerare il pubblico come ciò che deve essere costruito continuamente
come parte dell'invenzione dello spazio pubblico. Per questo siamo
interessati alle forme emergenti di individualità - sciami, folle, la
persona, i gruppi, gli ecosistemi...

2. About Spurse

spurse is an international collective composed of individuals with
experience in a wide variety of fields. spurse has no (fixed) content or
members - rather it is a viral multiplicity that is continuously reforming
itself as it becomes new projects and new events. In this, it is open to
change, contradiction, multiplicity, tangents, infection, and betrayal. We
are interested in considering the public as that which must be continually
constructed as a part of the invention of public space. In this we are
interested in emergent forms of individuality - swarms, crowds, the
person, groups, ecosystems...
