Editorial Note:

The letters which follow, were recently published by the Gaurdian, so I
suppose editorially within the framework we have set up on our e-mail
lists, this is a part of our "Articles" series.

But as they are correspondences, they have been included here. They are
letters from Rachel Corrie, an extremely bright, committed 23 year-old
American peace activist, one of the thousands of casualties of the Israeli
Occupation. Rachel is someone who willingly placed her life on the line
for standing up for her ideals of a more just, peaceful solution to the
Palestinian situation, to an end to the Occupation, to an end to what
amounts to, in her own words, Genocide.

In loving memory to Rachel and the countless victims of this Genocide,
those who have lost their lives in lump sum and those others who have been
forced to give it away one day at a time.
