1. About this Saturday

What: Walking Tour
When: Saturday -- 10.30.10 @ 12:00 PM
Where: Begins outside 150 Park Row, New York, NY 10007
Who: Free and open to all

This saturday we would like to invite you to a walking tour of jails and prisons in New York City organized by red channels, beginning with an afternoon excursion through Manhattan to locate and educate one another on the history and significance of these "hidden" spaces of incarceration. An opportunity to alter our psychogeographic perception and straight up learn about the prison system in NYC. Several contributers will be researching one center in advance of the tour to present to the group.

You are welcome to participate in the presentation, and to share information and thoughts you may have. The trip will be documented to make a video for anyone unable to join. Please bring video and still cameras if you would like to contribute.

For questions, please contact: detention[at]redchannels.org
